If you are after a physical copy of the game, there are special limited physical copies of the game available from October 1st. If you have never played it because you didn’t own a Nintendo Switch, now is you chance to jump in on the action. Untitled Goose Game (and Untitled Geese Game) is now available on all platforms. It is safe to say that I will be playing through the game all over again to get that Platinum PS4 trophy into my collection. Having played it now on PlayStation 4, there is an added satisfaction of running riot through the town and getting rewarded for doing so. The release onto Xbox One and PlayStation 4 allows for the addition of each platforms achievement and trophy system. The update isn’t all about the Co-Op though. Once you do get into a good rhythm together, the game is just as fantastic as it was as a single player. Whilst it is fun to be running around doing your own thing, it just doesn’t bode well for the purpose of the Co-Op Gameplay. Making it difficult at times to move about, especially if your partner is more focused on causing distress to the townsfolk as opposed to assisting you in ‘dragging that rake to the lake’. Quite ironic given the circumstances in Melbourne right now, only being able to travel within a 5km radius, the geese can only be apart for as far as the zoom-out-view allows. The only downside I could find with the Co-Op gameplay is the limitation of the distance you can be apart from each other. Now that there are two of you, and provided you can actually work together, the tasks required to complete each area can be done in a flash! One of you can be distracting the townsfolk whilst the other steals the items right from under their noses. With the addition of Co-Op gameplay, your friend can now join in on the chaos. At its core, objectives and controls are the same as they were in the initial release that I previously reviewed, you can see that review here. However, with the new update, I thought I would give it a go on the PlayStation 4. I had recently played through the game and completed it on Nintendo Switch. That’s right, Goose Game now has Co-Op, and it is utterly fantastic! Not only has the game been updated on the Nintendo Switch and PC platform, Untitled Goose Game is also now available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. No, that is not a typo, Untitled Goose Game received a much anticipated update recently that allows a secondary agent of chaos join in the mayhem.
